Can u feel it?

Yes, I'm talking about the fuel hike and no, it's not the feel of paying EXTRA $$$ I'm talking about. If you guys didn't notice, well right after the 78cent increase on petrol has been announced, the next day when I went to work, I notice that people are driving more gently on the road. The cars on the road seems to be moving in slow pace(of cuz there are still a few moving fast) but mostly all are cruising on the road including me. I'm sure the price hike is not a good thing(damn my full tank now cost 86RM for 1.5L and I'm going to change to 1.8L soon), but then there are at least some optimistic side I can see from this.

Dizzy day.......

Yeah, today somehow....I can feel the world is spinning on me. Seriously, I mean I was feeling very very dizzy(imagine drunk) and I can't even stand up straight just now in the evening.

I know this morning I didn't take breakfast and rush to client side to troubleshoot some technical problem. Usually I'm ok without breakfast but today, I guess with the pressure to quickly solve the problem and also pressure from my boss to complete one particular task, my headache kick in.

At this moment, I didn't felt any dizzy but just headache. When I went back office, the headache is getting worse. My boss asked me in to see him to discuss on the task, and at that time, can't felt my headache was better. After settling the stuff, I went back to my place.

This is when I start to feel abit dizzy, things around me are moving. In just few minutes later, I can't even stand straight, holding on to the table partition and feeling terribly dizzy. I straight pop up my green tea(bought from shell) and start drinking it. At the same time, I ate half(half was in Irene stomach) of the bread I brought as breakfast.

Only after this, I begin to feel better. Btw, my right ear has been like not functioning well, can feel something blocking my right hearing. I guess that might be cause of the dizziness... I dunno. At least now I felt I'm ok.

It's been a while......

Damn, checking back this blog, i can't believe it's been more than 6 months since i last did my blogging. So many things happened in between but I think I would just focus on what happened for the last 1 month.
Well, finally I was asked to go to India for business trip and it was an interesting experience for me. Station there for about a month, adapting in their culture and of course learning Hindi is the most fun part for me. The language IMO is more soft and pleasant to hear compare with Tamil. That's on the India trip.

And also finally I decided to change my car to this new MPV called Nissan Grand Livina(GL) due to all the problems that I starting to get on my 10 year old Wira. Booked the car on the day I was flying to India, due to the increask 2K price if I were to book later. Been seeing alot of GL on the road and I really likes it very much. 4 months waiting period, now in May, I need to wait for another 3 months. Check out the picture.
The last thing I want to mentioned about is my accident which happened last wednesday(13th May). What happened I guess was my mind was thinking of some work stuff, at the same time I was listening to radio, then I was trying to reach for my sun glass at the glove compartment and the next thing I know, the MYVI in front of me has stop I still got my foot on the pedal. Quickly break but too late. This was still ok with me as it didn't hit so hard.
But what happened next really gets my leg shivers. I went back to change to my brother's car (MYVI) and went out from my house. Somehow rather, in this case, I was like blink my eyes, when I open, I saw the auntie on bike infront of me and i hit brake straightaway. Too late again, and the auntie on the bike fell down and the bike went under my bro'car. I quickly stop the car and went to check the auntie, want to bring her to clinic. Then this lady who witness the accident saw some leakage from the car to the bike, ask me to reverse the car from the bike and park aside which I did. Luckily that's not petrol.
So I called my father, he came with my bro, I dare not drive to fetch the auntie to clinic, so my dad drove. Reached clinic, the auntie checked by doctor, nothing serious...PHEW..... Yesterday just got the total cost of fixing 3 cars(mine, my bro, the MYVI i hit and bike), 2.1K. Cost alot but it's ok for me as long as no one is injured. Hope this is a lesson for me to learn.

Yet another disappointment.....

Got this email from my fav magic store....

Hi,Unfortunately, Exxxxxxxxx is unable to process orders to Malaysia at this moment. Customs, USPS and FEDEX were returning most of our packages, creating a very bad situation for our customers and for Exxxxxxxx. We are requesting information on what is necessary in order to change that, but are unable to ship orders to your country. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks!

I bought my first magic DVD from this magic store back in 2003. The last DVD I bought was last year and last month, they released a superb CIB(those in magic should know what is this) effect and I wanted to get it. Trying to log in using my existing account and it doesn't work.

Then I went to My Account link and there it was....the notice that returning customer have to recreate their account and when i tried to do that, I can't find Malaysia in their country field.
So that was the replied email from customer support, telling me I can't buy their stuff.

Disappointed :(

My training on Designing Application Architecture.

Ok this might be a bit boring to talk about so I won't blog about the details. I have been to this training for the past 4 days(mon to fri) to learn about this on which I thought I should have had enough experience. But how wrong i was when the course started. Well it does tell you about the tiers(or you can call it *tears* as what the trainer describe hehe....) but I have all the wrong perception/definition on the word tier itself.

And with all the new 2008 techs jumping in (WPF, WCF, WF), my mind was going left and right, feeling confused...(luckily it's not that hard as you know MS like to make our life easier). It was definitely a good technical training for me and the rest of my colleagues but then implementation point of view...... that would be another question. One thing for sure, I will definitely try to design solution in this way whenever possible.
